I gave him Ahmerrad in my last play through to unlock the corresponding Achievement. Honourable, valient, yet not picky - noble both in thoughts and blood. I'd like to have Katrin so Bunduk's happy (and for her skills too!), but she's simply too superstitious, and she doesn't like Firentis, who's a very nice addition to the party. without the blue blood - but especially without those airs. He's also the only one who can spy Sarranids (based on their initial territory), which makes him a must-have.īunduk's a very nice guy to have too, fights quietly, professionally and honourably. I also like his primary priority being basic decency like paying troops on time.

Lezalit is a horror - though imo he's the best-looking companion in Native, and is also from noble background.Īnyway, Artimenner's a nice guy - and outsourcing Engineering's generally very convenient. The thing is, while Alayen keeps ranting about his blue-blooded problems, Lezalit is the guy who seems to very quickly get demoralized - he always leaves my party at some point, even though I have Artimenner always, and while I avoid hunger and bloodbaths (for my party), I also avoid retreating - and may even side with his training techniques from time to time. Works well - he's also blue-blooded, so why not? I made him Minister to get rid of my him in my last play-through. I mean, he tells ME, that I'm of lower birth than himself, etc.īut to spy on Vaegirs, you need either him or that sneak-thief Klethi (unlike Vaegirs take some other city, like Wercheg or Dhirim). I find Alayen's blue-blooded lines super-annoying.
